i fell down in the shower again
drunk off my ass again
as the rain falls on my head again
slowly drifting to oblivion…again
wake the next morning
with a needle in my arm
and the rain…ummm shower
drowning my pain
grab the nearest bottle of pills
to kill this pain
to kill my pain
and swallow them down with a beer
then another
and another
trying to drown the pain
in a whole different way
before long today is tonight
and tonight is tomorrow
and tomorrow never comes
